socialization

The process of adjustment in society is called socialization. Socialization is an essential process for all. From childhood to teenagers, people have to follow some steps of socialization. Some people feel difficult to socialize. But some people feel easy to socialize in society. Normal children and teenagers feel easy to socialize. Abnormal children feel difficult to socialize. Even grown up people have to socialize in new society or culture. Among several steps of socialization are greeting, wishing saluting, politeness, response to other people properly and to follow traditional social norms and values. Socialization process differs from culture to culture. From how eat to how to behave differ according to social tradition and general belief. Nepalese must say namaste to all & it is our culture to respond by saying namaste. It is being world famous. We join our hands when we say namaste. We shake right hands, not left. Japanese bow down to respect others. Chinese also bow down to respect. In past, Nepalese women hesitate to wear pants and shorts. There are many rules to respect our elders that depends on relation between two persons. So, in such kind of socialization process, teenagers and children need to be taught properly. But society and seniors must give emphasis to teach properly. But society and seniors must give emphasis to teach socialization steps to them because it is related to our civilization and beliefs.

Television

Television has made its room in modern life for information, communication, & entertainment. It has been an indispensable part of culture at present. People get new information about any event and industrial product and so many other things. On different channels television stations have been broadcasting. From such channels, people get updated to all types of new events. It is a cheap means of communication and information. Moreover, television has been an easy entertainment. So, television has been creating global culture and trends very quickly. That's why television plays very important role in daily ife activities of people. Television is a means of communication. It is a great achievement of science. Nowadays, many people have television. It has both uses and misuses or advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage of watching television are that we can know the world news; it makes the world a global village; it makes our mind broad; it helps us to understand what is happening in this world etc.

Moreover, it entertains us. We can watch tele films, dances etc. Our children spend their most of the time watching knowledge programmes. They engage in TV so that they can not disturb their parents. It is television that makes the children clever & helps them to move with their time. On the other hand, television has many disadvantages. It destroys the power of our eyes. It wastes our time. Children spend their time watching TV rather than reading educational books and all. It makes them dull, not creative. Television has many programmes which are not only good but also bad. The different  channels broadcast violence, Abuses, Bad culture Etc. which give bad influence to the children because children cannot select which are good or which are bad for them. It helps us to understand the world. It has become an inseparable part of our life if we use it properly it is a blessing if u Misuse it it's a curse.
Road accidents are very common today. Everyday We hear the news of some bus colliding with another, falling in the river or crushing the pedestrians.  The reason is heavy traffic, narrow or badly maintained roads, the violation  of traffic rules, over-loading the vehicles. In the towns and cities, there is no speed of limits. Drivers often try to overtake or even rush on the zebra-crossing  and intersections. They ignore the red signal or traffic  police's warning. They also try to drive ahead when the pedestrians are crossing the road. On the other hand, the pedestrians, too ignore the traffic signals and cross the roads amidst the moving traffic. Sometimes, they are found walking on the roads themselves, instead of walking on the footpath. they do not use subway or over-bridges crossing. But cyclists may use the footpath and hit the pedestrians. The external shops on the footpath cause many problems and block the easy movement of traffic. On the highway, the roads are so traffic congested & full of ups and downs, and the landslides so common that accidents have become a common feature. The haphazard way of parking heavy vehicles like trucks and lorries also cause road accidents, especially at nights. So the concern authorities driven and general pedestrians, especially school children, should all take great care and check road accidents.

Nepal

Nepal is a landlocked country in the Himalayas, the highest mountain range in the world. Nepal has three district geographical zones- lowland hills, mountains valleys & the great Himalayan Range- with subtropical to alpine-arctic temperatures and wide variations in vegetation and animal life. Most in Nepal are farmers. They grow grain, fruit & other crops in the lowlands, where temperatures are the warmest. Rice and corn grow in terraced or stair-like fields in the cooler hilly regions. Potatoes & barley are the staple or chief at higher altitudes, where temperatures are the coolest. the Nepalese raise goats, cattle and yaks for diary products. Meat is eaten mostly on special occasions. Religious rules affect which meat people in Nepal eat. Hindus who makes up almost 70 % of the population , do not eat beef. Islam does not allow its followers, Muslims to eat pork. The Buddhist religion prohibits the killing of any animals but allows the eating of meat. A typical family meal in Nepal might include daal bhat or chapatti, steamed vegetables, and achaar. About 90 % of Nepalese people live in rural areas. They often lack electricity for refrigerators, so they rely on cereals such as grain, lentils and beans. People take their traditions and kinds of food they eat with them when they move from one place to another. You might recognize examples when you look at your classmate's special foods or at specialty restaurants in your community.

Music is part of every culture on Earth. Many people feel that music makes life worth living. We can make music ourselves if we play an instrument or sing. We can hear music on CD and on radio or television. Music can be happy, sad, romantic, sleepy, spine-tingling, healing—all kinds of things. Music, like language, is a uniquely human form of communication. As with language, there are many different kinds. In North America, people listen to jazz, rock, classical, folk, country, and many other kinds of music. Today, modern communications make it possible for us to listen to music from all over the world. Music from one part of the world influences music from another part. No one knows for sure when music began. Perhaps while people were working, they began to chant or sing to make the work go faster. Music plays an important part in our lives. It’s usually part of weddings, parades, parties, and sporting events. Television shows and movies use music to communicate emotion or drama.

Many people enjoy playing musical instruments. Music plays an important part in our lives. It’s usually part of weddings, parades, parties, and sporting events. Television shows and movies use music to communicate emotion or drama. Many people enjoy playing musical instruments. Music goes along with many of our activities. We dance to music. We sing songs at school. Many of us exercise to music. Bands play at football games. We hear music in cars and stores. Music accompanies many important occasions. At a wedding, for example, the bride marches down the aisle to music.
Music has always been important to religious ceremonies. Music is heard in Christian churches, Jewish synagogues, Islamic mosques, and other places of worship. Music entertains us. We listen to show tunes, spirituals, pop, opera, and rock. We have favorite performers. We hear music as the background in movies.

Gravity

Earth’s gravity pulls toward the center of Earth. Gravity holds the oceans and the atmosphere on Earth. The Sun’s gravity pulls toward the center of the Sun. It holds the Sun together.
Gravity is a force that pulls two objects toward each other. The force is also called gravitation. The bigger an object is, the stronger its gravity. Small objects, and even cars and buildings, have so little gravity that you can’t feel their pull. Huge objects like Earth, however, are a different story.
Earth is so much bigger than you that its gravity makes you “stick” to the ground. Earth is bigger than the Moon. Earth’s gravity pulls on the Moon. That is why the Moon orbits, or goes around, Earth. The Sun is bigger than Earth. Its gravity makes Earth go around the Sun.
Gravity has always been around. In ancient times, people tried to explain why things fall toward Earth. An English scientist named Sir Isaac Newton came up with a great idea about gravity in 1687. He thought about how an apple falls and wondered how far gravity went. He came up with the idea that gravity does more than hold people on Earth.
Newton thought of gravity as a kind of mysterious force pulling objects together. He said that gravity holds the Moon in orbit around Earth. It holds the planets in orbit around the Sun. Newton’s ideas on gravitation explained many things about how apples fall and how stars and planets move. The planets in our solar system roll around the dent in space-time made by the Sun. The dent keeps planets from going off into space. The dent in space-time keeps the planets going around the Sun.
In the early 1900s, another scientist named Albert Einstein came up with a very different idea of what gravity is. Einstein had some pretty amazing ideas. He said there was something called space-time. He thought of gravity as a dent in space-time. This is not as hard to imagine as it might seem. Think about placing a bowling ball on a soft mattress. The mattress is like space-time. The bowling ball is like a star. The bowling ball makes a dent in the mattress. This is sort of how a star dents space-time. If you try to roll a tennis ball past the bowling ball, it curves around the bowling ball as it passes through the dent.
Scientists are still not sure what causes gravity. Finding out more about gravity is an important problem for the future.

Telephone

Telephone, a scientific tool in communication, has revolutionized the daily life activities of human beings. It has saved the time of people to communicate across the world. It has been possible to talk with the people to communicate across the world. It has been possible to talk with the people of any part of world in our time . No one has to wait for any longer to communicate with the people. No one has to go to someone Else's house to communicate the message . Just staying at home, we can communicate with any person right away. Just few years ago, people hadn't imagined to be close as in these days in communication.
Telephone has displaced the traditional forms of communication. People don't go home to convey any message. Just telephone is enough. From it we save time and energy. In past, people used to write letters and post offices had to do job. Many people had got different jobs but, now-days, their job is in crisis. So, telephone can create unemployment problem in the world. Telephone has facilitated internet, fax and other forms of communication also. Like many others, telephone has also some demerits. People have to pay extra money for telephone, internet, fax etc. Sometimes it can create tension in the house. People have to receive the phone and talk to friends when they are unwillingly busy. It engages the people very much. Sometimes, bluff calls can cause a great problem and increase the mental tension. As telephone is a pleasant gift of science and technology to our society So, lets use it for good causes.
